rafael banzuela III

It has always been akward for me to write something about myself almost as akward as starting an essay with "My name is Rafael Banzuela III, I was born on September 27, 1986." There i did it and it still feels akward.

Anyway I graduated from college with a degree of Bachelor of Arts in English just last year, April 2007 to be a bit more exact. Although I had no formal education in the field of arts, I have immersed myself in digital art and taught myself how to use applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign with a hand from online tutorials and magazines. I have already created various print and advertising designs including logos, brochures and magazine covers for a company and and for public and private schools in our locality.

I believe that an artist create his own world through his art. A beautiful world that other people can relate to, to touch them and inspire them. My world is a silent one, it is fantasy, surreal, dark and thoughful sometimessprinkled with goodhearted giggles. I create images through photomanipulations and illustrations using digtigal media and pencin and pen.

I like art which conveys concept and that can make others think.

I believe that art can be cultivated by a person within himself. Education would be a lot of help in improving one's art, passion is what makes an artist stretch his art to the limits of his imagination.
